Scale model architectural models

Architectural Models:

Whether the project is an office building or hotel for a corporation, a sales diorama for a real estate developer, or a fund raising model for a growing church, our focus is alway to satisfy the requirements of our client. Scale models of architectural subjects can take many forms; highly detailed; possily including even interior detail, or simply a massing model aimed purely at demonstrating the architechtonic shapes involved. The scale may range from 1:400 to perhaps 1:24 on the larger side.

Over the years we have executed a number of interesting architectural scale models. As a group, those pieces designed as traveling sales tools are an interesting bunch. It is quite interesting to hear reports from clients: we might ask " Where have they been? Have they done their jobs? How have they been used? Great stuff! Generally, these models are of 1/8" = 1' - 0" scale or smaller.

We continually strive to improve our techniques and material selection. as new components or technologies become available. we try to implement them as the opportunity arises. As a result of the progress made in plastics research, our models incorporate more resins, polymers, and sheet products than ever before, resulting in more permanency and finer, more durable finishes. Of course, traditional materials such as metal, wood, rubber, phenolic, etc. are still in play as well.

We pride ourselves on our ability to interpret and apply all manner of information, whether it be by voice, efiles, printed materials or other means. Communication is extremely important in rendering scale structures accurately. For Kelley Morris Scale Models to be successful as a company, a total integration of visual, audible and verbal contact from the client to us is paramount. We also value the continued relationship we enjoy with our customers.

So we invite you to review these examples of our architectural scale models. Represented are various scales, materials, formats, detail levels and purposes. Perhaps we can help you express your concept in a decidely meaningful way.
